The Inaugural Data & Doughnuts!
The inaugural Data & Doughnuts event took place this November, bringing together data enthusiasts, professionals, and business leaders for an engaging evening of insights, conversations, and, of course, doughnuts. Hosted by Concise, a leading data consultancy in Guernsey, and sponsored by Bragi, the flagship product of Cortex, the event was held at the Cortex offices. The event aims to build a vibrant local community where knowledge sharing meets casual networking.
A New Space for Data Conversations
The Data & Doughnuts community was founded to create a relaxed and accessible environment for people to connect over their shared interest in data. Whether you're a seasoned data scientist, a business leader leveraging analytics for decision-making, or simply curious about the world of data, the community offers something for everyone.
Each event will feature a short, thought-provoking talk on a data-related topic, followed by plenty of time for informal networking — all over a selection of delicious doughnuts.
Looking Ahead to 2025
Following the success of the launch event, Data & Doughnuts will return in 2025 as a quarterly series. Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of speakers, interactive sessions, and opportunities to collaborate with like-minded peers. The focus will remain on fostering genuine connections and encouraging knowledge sharing across industries.
